On 3 November, WTO members held the first meeting of the Transparency Working Group of the Committee on Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Measures, an initiative aimed at enhancing transparency and cooperation among members on SPS notifications. The SPS Committee also met on 5-7 November and reviewed a record 71 SPS-related trade concerns raised by members.
